Running UpTime at Startup

To have UpTime launch automatically when Windows starts, create a shortcut to the UpTime executable and place it in your Windows Startup folder. Right-click the Start button, choose Open, navigate to Programs, then StartUp, and move the shortcut there. You can also use our WinStartup utility to add it to the Windows registry startup entries.

Complete re-write of the software, starting from scratch.
Windows updated how to calculate UpTime, we had to adapt.
This version only supports Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, and newer, and Windows Server 2008, 2011, 2012, 2019, 2022, and newer.
Added ability to double-click Copy value on Machine GUID, Build Lab and Product ID.

Fixed saving the Display Format in the .ini file.
Fixed issue with getting uptime past 49 days.
Fixed exceptions when saving settings to the .ini file without permissions.

v1.02 December 1, 2006

Changed format to skip 0 values (e.g., "1 week, 1 hour, 15 minutes" instead of "1 week, 0 days, 1 hour, 15 minutes").
Added support for Short Date Format HH:MM:SS.
Changed to save options when returning from settings screen.
Fixed the Show Seconds option not being retained.
Increased the default font size for better visibility.

Rewrote the entire UpTime logic. Fixed negative numbers after long uptime periods.
New desktop-friendly interface with tray icon and tooltip.
Added options for minimize to tray, stay on top, custom fonts, colors, flashing display, and rollover colors.
