Can I use Environment Variables for the paths?
Yes, Message Manager Deluxe fully supports all user and system environment variables in all paths. For example if you wanted the cookie file to be written to the users home path on the network server, you could set the cookie directory to:
%USER_HOME%
The cookie would be written to the mapping that is set in the USER_HOME environment variable.
In addition to system and user environment variables, Message Manager Deluxe has a built in global variable called %CURRENT_DIR%. The current directory resolves to the directory where loadmsg.exe is being ran from.
You can use environment variables for the paths of any of the following features: Load Message File, User Defined Image and Sound, Button File Launching, Message Logging Output, Cookie directory and the Splash Screen image.
%USER_HOME%
The cookie would be written to the mapping that is set in the USER_HOME environment variable.
